Patta x Nike

Nike has reunited with one of its earliest streetwear collaborators, Patta, for a new capsule collection featuring two color ways of the Air Max 90, complemented by matching tracksuits.

Nike and Patta's collaborative relationship dates back to 2006, when the Amsterdam-based brand was given the opportunity to design its own Air Max 90 — resulting in the release of the now-iconic “Homegrown” edition. Nearly two decades later, the two have built an extensive catalog of collaborations that  have become a blueprint for how independent streetwear brands can partner with global sportswear giants without compromising authenticity.

Rooted in cultural storytelling, community engagement, and a deep respect for heritage, their joint projects consistently reimagine iconic Nike silhouettes through Patta’s unique lens — merging timeless design with meaningful narratives.

Patta’s latest take on the Air Max 90 arrives in two striking colorways: ‘Cyber’ and ‘Sapphire.’ Each pair features a richly layered design with a Particle Grey upper, energized by vibrant accents unique to each color way. The wavy black mudguard popularized by the duo ripples around the silhouette, emphasizing the sense of motion embedded in the design. Lightweight textiles and signature Max Air cushioning maintain the Air Max 90’s timeless appeal, while a lenticular label adds a touch of magic—shifting from "Air Max" to "Patta" with a change in angle.
